You will be picked up from your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh between 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM. Then, enjoy a comfortable journey in an air-conditioned vehicle for approximately 4 hours as you make your way to Mount Sinai.
Upon arrival, you’ll embark on a trekking adventure to the sacred site where the Prophet Moses received the Ten Commandments. The trek involves climbing 750 steps to reach an elevation of 2,285 meters, taking about 2 to 3 hours, depending on the group’s pace.
If the group performs well, you might reach the summit earlier than anticipated, allowing you to relax and witness the breathtaking sunrise illuminating the mountains in all its glory.
While soaking in the sunrise, capture stunning photos or take a moment for prayer before beginning your descent. The journey back down will take around 2 hours. After the trek, take some time to rest and enjoy a hearty breakfast.
Next, visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of St. Catherine’s Monastery, where you can explore ancient manuscripts in the library and view icons excavated from the Vatican. This monastery is recognized as the oldest functioning Christian monastery in the world, located on the Sinai Peninsula, alongside the Monastery of Saint Anthony across the Red Sea in South Cairo.
After your visit to the monastery, relax during the drive back to your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh
