Upon landing in Luxor, our delegate will greet you at the airport holding a sign with our company name to begin your adventure. Your first stop will be the West Bank of Luxor, where you’ll explore the Valley of the Kings. Known as the Valley of the Gates of the Kings, this area served as the burial site for pharaohs and powerful nobles during the New Kingdom (16th to 11th century BC).
Next, visit the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, an architectural masterpiece built during the reign of Pharaoh Hatshepsut of the 18th Dynasty. The temple’s three grand terraces seamlessly blend with the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari, creating a stunning sight across the desert.
From there, continue to Medinet Habu, home to the burial temple of Ramses III. This significant religious monument features a grand entrance that spans 63 meters wide and 22 meters tall, showcasing carvings of the pharaoh subduing his enemies.
Afterward, stop at the iconic Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues that mark the site of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III.
You’ll then enjoy a delightful lunch at a local restaurant before embarking on a serene felucca ride along the Nile River. As you sail, relax with a drink and soak in the breathtaking views of Luxor from the water.
Next, cross to the East Bank of Luxor to visit Karnak Temple, the largest temple complex in Luxor. This impressive site is dedicated to the god Amun, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu.
Your final stop will be the Luxor Temple, a stunning monument built by Amenhotep III during the 18th Dynasty and later completed by Ramses II.
