Our first stop is Stone Town, where you’ll discover the island’s dark past and its vibrant present. We’ll take you on a guided tour of the Anglican Cathedral, where you’ll step inside the haunting slave chambers and see the powerful Slave Monument, a tribute to those who suffered during Zanzibar’s slave trade era

Next up, we hop on a boat to Prison Island, also known as Turtle Island. Once a prison and later a quarantine hospital, the island is now a lush paradise surrounded by colorful starfish. Your guide will share the fascinating history, but the real stars of the show are the giant land turtles! You’ll have plenty of time to feed, pet, and take photos with these gentle giants

After Prison Island, it's time to head to Nakupenda! This magical sandbank only appears for a few hours each day, and we’ve got it all set up just for you. Onboard the boat, we’ll treat you to fresh fruits and soft drinks as you enjoy the crystal-clear waters

Upon arrival at Nakupenda, you’ll have a private tent with comfortable seating and restaurant-style service, exclusively for Zanzi Tours clients. It’s time to indulge in the best seafood feast on the island! From juicy lobsters to tender octopus, shrimp, squid, and freshly grilled fish, our team of chefs will prepare an unforgettable meal right on the beach. Cold beer and soft drinks are served with lunch – perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun.

After lunch, dive into the stunning underwater world around Nakupenda! We’ll provide snorkeling gear so you can explore the vibrant coral reefs and tropical fish. Or, just kick back and relax on the soft white sand – it’s your time to unwind

As Nakupenda disappears into the ocean (like magic!), we’ll sail back to Stone Town for an afternoon walking tour. You’ll visit iconic landmarks like the Old Fort, see the famous Indian and Arabic doors, and stop by Freddie Mercury’s birthplace. Our Russian-speaking guide will share stories and local insights as you explore the colorful streets.

After the tour, enjoy some free time to wander through the vibrant markets of Stone Town. Pick up unique souvenirs, exchange currency, or even send a postcard to loved ones from the local post office. Don’t forget to bargain at the colorful shops for the best deals
