Day 01 :

Arrival in Trumer Seenland District

Arrive at your welcoming country hotel in Salzburg’s beautiful lake district. Take time to stroll by the waters, enjoy the alpine air, and prepare for your pilgrimage adventure.

Day 02 :

Trumer Seenland ➝ Eugendorf

After a short transfer to Oberhofen on Lake Irrsee, your journey on the St. Jacob’s Trail begins. Pass rolling green hills and reach Lake Wallersee, wandering through peaceful nature reserves before arriving in the charming village of Eugendorf.

Day 03 :

Eugendorf ➝ Salzburg

Walk toward Salzburg, where history, music, and faith converge. Explore cobbled alleys, stunning churches, and the iconic Hohensalzburg Fortress. Treat yourself to the city’s signature dessert, Salzburger Nockerl, and make a pilgrimage to Maria Plain Church, overlooking the city with panoramic views.

Day 04 :

Salzburg ➝ Bad Reichenhall

Cross the city and reach the mighty Untersberg Massif. At Schloss Marzoll, step across the border into Germany’s picturesque Rupertiwinkl region. End the day in Bad Reichenhall, the Bavarian spa town famous for its salt mines and thermal baths.

Day 05 :

Bad Reichenhall ➝ Unken

Follow the Saalach River back into Austria. Pass the emerald waters of Lake Saalachsee and continue through the wild, untouched Saalach Valley, surrounded by alpine peaks and lush forests.

Day 06 :

Unken ➝ Waidring

Journey through Lofer, a postcard-perfect alpine village. Surrounded by the dramatic Loferer Steinberge cliffs, cross the scenic Strub Pass into Tyrol, where alpine charm awaits.

Day 07 :

Waidring ➝ St. Johann in Tyrol

Walk past glittering Lake Pillersee and visit the charming St. Jacob’s Church before reaching St. Johann in Tirol. Marvel at panoramic views of the Kitzbühel Alps and the rugged Wilder Kaiser mountain range.

Day 08 :

Departure or Extension

Your pilgrimage comes to an end. After breakfast, check out and either return home or extend your stay in Tyrol for more alpine discoveries.
