Day 01 :

Arrival in Corte

Arrive in the vibrant mountain town of Corte. Wander its narrow cobbled streets, sip coffee in a local café, or climb up to the impressive rock citadel for sweeping views of the surrounding peaks. Overnight in a welcoming 2★ hotel (upgrades available).

Day 02 :

Roundtrip Hike from Corte (12 km, 4.5 hrs)

Follow an ancient mule path through the Tavignano Gorge, where towering cliffs guard a rushing river dotted with crystal-clear pools. Perfect for a refreshing dip! Overnight in Corte.

Day 03 :

Scala di Santa Regina to Calacuccia (13 km, 5 hrs)

A short transfer brings you to the starting point of today’s classic shepherd trail. Pass through rugged highlands, a shimmering mountain lake, and reach the village of Calacuccia. Dinner at a local restaurant featuring seasonal Corsican dishes. Overnight near Calacuccia.

Day 04 :

Col de Vergio to Evisa (12 km, 5 hrs)

From the highest mountain pass in Corsica, descend into the pine forests of Aïtone. Cross chestnut groves where free-range pigs roam and cool off in natural rock pools before arriving in lively Evisa. Dinner and overnight at a cosy mountain inn.

Day 05 :

Evisa to Tassu & Marignana (10 km, 5 hrs)

Optional hike through chestnut forests to the abandoned village of Tassu, before continuing to Marignana. A cultural hike through authentic Corsican mountain life. Return to Evisa for dinner and overnight.

Day 06 :

Evisa to Porto via Spelunca Gorge (14 km, 4 hrs)

Descend through the legendary Spelunca Gorge, crossing Genoese stone bridges that whisper of Corsica’s history. Break in the charming village of Ota before continuing to the turquoise Bay of Porto. Overnight in Porto.

Day 07 :

Porto to Piana (12 km, 5 hrs)

Walk along the UNESCO-listed Calanques de Piana, where fiery-red cliffs plunge into the sea. The old mule path offers breathtaking views of hidden coves and twisted granite formations. End in the charming town of Piana. Overnight in a family-run hotel.
