Day 01 :

Arrival in Kotor

Welcome to Kotor, Montenegro’s coastal jewel! Upon arrival, you’ll meet our local representative who will brief you about your walking program and provide all your hiking materials.
After check-in at your 4-star hotel, enjoy a leisurely evening stroll through Kotor’s medieval streets surrounded by towering mountains and the sparkling Adriatic Sea.

Day 02 :

Walking in the Bay of Kotor (16 km | 6–7 hrs | 770 m ascent/descent)

Your first hike begins in the old town of Kotor, following the historic Franz-Josef trail up Mount Vrmac. Reach the impressive Vrmac Fortress, built in 1892, still standing strong today.
Continue to the summit of Sveti Ilija (765 m) for panoramic views over the twin bays — Kotor and Tivat. Descend to the peaceful village of Prčanj, sip coffee by the seafront, and take in the gentle rhythm of local life.

Day 03 :

Walking Around Perast (14 km | 6–7 hrs | 740 m ascent/descent)

Today’s hike begins in the quaint village of Orahovac. Ascend through lush forests to the abandoned hamlet of Stepen, then climb to the Vranovo Brdo Fortress for jaw-dropping views of the bay below.
Descend to the coastal town of Perast, a place of baroque palaces and sea legends. Transfer back to Kotor for another restful evening.

Day 04 :

The Ladder of Kotor (11 km | 5–6 hrs | 950 m ascent)

This historic route once connected Kotor with Cetinje — even billiard tables were carried along this path!
Follow the winding zigzag trail offering mesmerizing views of the bay. At the top (Krstac Pass, 900 m), reward yourself with local Njeguši ham and cheese in the traditional mountain village of Njeguši. Return to Kotor for your final night in the old town.

Day 05 :

Lovćen National Park & Cetinje (14 km | 6–7 hrs | 500 m ascent/descent)

Drive to Lovćen National Park, where mountain peaks meet the sky. Enjoy a scenic circular hike through hidden settlements and breathtaking viewpoints.
In the afternoon, explore Cetinje, Montenegro’s royal capital, rich in history and charm. Continue to Budva on the Adriatic coast for overnight stay.

Panoramic Walk to the Monasteries of Budva (10 km | 5 hrs | 600 m ascent/descent)

A short drive takes you to Praskavica Monastery, the start of a serene coastal trail. Follow an ancient monk-built staircase to reach the monasteries of Rustovo and Ogradenica, where peace and panoramic views await.
Descend through olive groves to Blizikuće village and return by public bus.
