Day 01 :

Arrival in Saig

Arrive at your first charming 4-star hotel in Saig. After settling into your cozy room, stretch your legs with a stroll through the surrounding countryside and get ready for the week ahead.

Day 02 :

Saig ➝ Hinterzarten (16km, 4–5 hrs)

Begin your adventure through quiet forests and the Rotmeer Nature Reserve. Cross the lush Bärental valley and admire the tumbling Seebach Waterfall. The trail climbs steeply before joining the famous West Trail, leading you past glittering little lakes to the welcoming town of Hinterzarten. Overnight at a warm 4-star hotel.

Day 03 :

Hinterzarten ➝ Feldberg (16km, 4–5 hrs)

Walk towards the peaceful Feldsee Lake, nestled at the foot of the mountain. Then follow a scenic path to Seehalde and continue past a small ski area. End your day with a cozy night in a mountain inn on Feldberg, high above the forest.

Day 04 :

Feldberg ➝ Todtnauberg (16.5km, 5 hrs)

Climb to the top of Feldberg, the highest summit of the Black Forest, with sweeping views across Germany, France, and Switzerland. The trail then leads gently downhill through quiet forests to the lively ski resort town of Todtnauberg. Overnight in a 4-star hotel.

Day 05 :

Todtnauberg ➝ Bernau im Schwarzwald (18km, 5–6 hrs)

Descend to Todtnau village and ride the Hasenhorn chairlift. After a summit detour, hike past the shimmering Prägbach waterfalls to the Bernau Valley – considered one of the most picturesque high valleys in the region. Stay overnight in a traditional 4-star inn.

Day 06 :

Bernau ➝ Schluchsee (24km, 6 hrs)

One of the most scenic days! Pass an abandoned silver mine and join the Schluchtensteig Trail up to Krummenkreuz. Forest paths then guide you to Schluchsee Lake, where you walk along its shores before arriving at the spa town of Schluchsee. Overnight at a lakefront 4-star hotel.

Day 07 :

Schluchsee ➝ Saig (23km, 5 hrs)

A gentle hike along Schluchsee’s shoreline leads to the small village of Falkau. A final steep climb brings you back to Saig. Celebrate your adventure with a panoramic view of the valleys below. Overnight in a 4-star hotel.
