Day 01 :

Arrival in Lech am Arlberg

Settle into your cozy alpine hotel, stroll through the elegant resort town, and prepare for the adventure.

Day 02 :

Lech am Arlberg to Formarinsee & back

Transfer to Formarinsee (1,793m), where the Lechweg officially begins. Walk along the river’s sparkling turquoise flow back to Lech, surrounded by alpine peaks.

Day 03 :

Lech am Arlberg ➝ Steeg

Traverse farmland and high meadows, cross into Tyrol, and enjoy Warth’s alpine dairy. Follow the Panorama Trail with sweeping valley views before reaching Steeg.

Day 04 :

Steeg ➝ Elbigenalp

Pass through Holzgau, cross Europe’s longest pedestrian suspension bridge, then continue through forests and meadows to Elbigenalp, the artistic heart of woodcraft traditions.

Day 05 :

Elbigenalp ➝ Stanzach

Walk along riverside paths to Häselgehr, visit the ornate parish church, and hike to the mysterious Doser waterfall before arriving in peaceful Stanzach.

Day 06 :

Stanzach ➝ Höfen

Venture through wild Lech landscapes, cross suspension bridges, and pass river wetlands until reaching Höfen, a quiet alpine village embraced by mountains.

Day 07 :

Höfen ➝ Füssen

Climb to the Costaries Chapel viewpoint, pass Frauensee lake, and admire the wetlands from the Bird Tower. Finish your journey at the roaring Lechfall and the fairy-tale castles of Füssen.
