Day 01 :

Arrival in Les Houches

Arrive in Les Houches, the charming Alpine gateway to Mont Blanc. Check into your hotel, enjoy a hearty dinner, and get ready for the adventure ahead.

Day 02 :

Les Houches ➝ Les Contamines

Ride the gondola to Bellevue and skip the steep first climb. Hike past alpine meadows, ancient hamlets, and the dazzling Glacier de Bionnassay. Cross the Col de Tricot before descending into the peaceful valley of Les Contamines.

Day 03 :

Les Contamines ➝ Les Chapieux

Start at Notre Dame de la Gorge and ascend to the Col du Bonhomme and Col de la Croix du Bonhomme, rewarded with panoramic views of the Aiguille des Glaciers. Overnight in a rustic mountain refuge.

Day 04 :

Les Chapieux ➝ Rifugio Elisabetta (Italy)

Cross the border into Italy via the Col de la Seigne. The descent reveals jaw-dropping views of the Aiguilles de Peuterey and Mont Blanc de Courmayeur. Tonight, stay in a dormitory at the famous Refuge Elisabetta.

Day 05 :

Rifugio Elisabetta ➝ Courmayeur

One of the most scenic stretches! Pass the Chécroui Pass with endless views of Mont Blanc. Descend into the stylish Italian town of Courmayeur. (Option to continue to Rifugio Elena for dormitory accommodation.)

Day 06 :

Courmayeur ➝ La Fouly (Switzerland)

Cross Col Ferret into Switzerland. Admire the magnificent Grand Combin massif before arriving in the picturesque village of La Fouly.

Day 07 :

La Fouly ➝ Champex (Val d’Arpette)

Stroll through Switzerland’s prettiest valleys, dotted with traditional chalets. End the day at Champex Lake, nestled among forests and peaks.

Day 08 :

Champex ➝ La Forclaz (or Trient)

Take on the thrilling Fenêtre d’Arpette (2,750 m) – one of the highest and most rewarding points on the TMB. If weather is poor, an alternate scenic route via Col de Bovine is possible. Overnight in La Forclaz or Trient.

Day 09 :

La Forclaz ➝ Le Tour (or Argentière)

Cross the Col de la Balme and re-enter France with sweeping views of Mont Blanc and the Aiguille Verte. Descend into Le Tour or Argentière.

Day 10 :

Le Tour ➝ Chamonix

Hike along the famous Balcon des Aiguilles Rouges, reaching Lac Blanc with its mirror-like reflections of Mont Blanc. Continue to Chamonix – the Alpine capital.

Day 11 :

Explore Chamonix

A free day to explore. Ride the gondola to Planpraz or Le Brévent for breathtaking hikes and views of Mont Blanc. Relax in Chamonix’s cafés or visit La Mer de Glace glacier.

Day 12 :

Departure

After breakfast, say farewell to Mont Blanc or extend your Alpine stay.
