Day 01 :

Arrival in Menton

Arrive in sunny Menton, where pastel-colored houses overlook the sparkling Mediterranean. Stroll along the promenade or dine in one of its excellent restaurants.

Day 02 :

Menton → Vintimille (Ventimiglia)

Begin your hike from Castellar village, perched above Menton. Two options await:

Short Hike: Walk through Saint Bernard’s pass and chapel before crossing into Italy at Passo della Corna. Descend to Grimaldi with sweeping sea views.
Long Hike: A tougher route via Col du Berceau and Cime de Restaud with breathtaking panoramas before joining the Italian ridge path.
Finish the day exploring Ventimiglia’s Old Town with its Roman cathedral.

Day 03 :

Torri → Airole → Rochetta-Nervina

Transfer to Torri in the Bévéra valley. Walk along the riverbank to Collabassa, then descend to Airole’s maze-like alleys. After a break, climb Sella dei Due Abelli and descend into Rochetta-Nervina’s lush valley.
Overnight: Hôtel Lago Bin

Day 04 :

Rochetta-Nervina → Apricale

A serene path leads you past streams and olive groves before climbing towards Isolabona. The final ascent reveals Apricale, one of Italy’s most beautiful villages, perched dramatically on a slope.

Day 05 :

Perinaldo → Dolceacqua → Pigna

Visit Apricale, then ascend to Perinaldo for sweeping ocean views. Descend to Dolceacqua, famous for its medieval bridge and castle. Later, transfer to Pigna, a treasure of Renaissance art.

Day 06 :

Pigna → Baiardo

Pass through Castelvittorio’s winding alleys, climb to San Sebastiano chapel, then ascend forest trails to Baiardo, the highest village on this journey.

Baiardo → San Remo

Climb through shaded ridges to Mont Bignone (1299m) for jaw-dropping Riviera views. Descend into the San Romolo nature park before transferring to glamorous San Remo.
