Arrival in Kaltern / Lake Caldaro

Welcome to South Tyrol! Your adventure begins at the charming village of Kaltern, surrounded by vineyards, orchards, and Italy’s warmest bathing lake — Lake Caldaro. Depending on your arrival time, take a refreshing dip or enjoy a peaceful walk through the terraced vineyards.

Day 02 :

Lake Caldaro → Còredo

Start your day with a wonderful mountain train ride to Mendel Pass, offering sweeping views across the Dolomites. From here, follow forested trails toward Nonstal Valley, moving through dramatic canyons and tiny storybook villages.
Visit the sacred pilgrimage site of Saint Romedio, perched high on a rock, and continue past two serene alpine lakes before reaching the peaceful village of Còredo.

Còredo → Molveno

Option 1: Easy & Scenic
Walk around the turquoise waters of Lake Molveno, enjoying forests, meadows, lakeside paths, and stunning reflections of the Brenta peaks.

Option 2: For Adventurous Hikers
Take a cable car up the mountain (open June–September) and hike down a dramatic trail overlooking cliffs and rugged peaks. Sections are narrow with metal railings — recommended only for experienced hikers on clear weather days.

Molveno → Lake Garda
