Day 01 :

Arrival in Salzburg

Welcome to Mozart’s city! Check in to your hotel, attend the welcome briefing, and get your bike fitted. Enjoy an evening stroll in Salzburg’s old town before your adventure begins.

Day 02 :

Salzburg → Mondsee or Attersee (50–80 km)

Start by cycling along the Salzach River. Ride through meadows and villages to the majestic Drachenwand cliff, overlooking Mondsee Lake. Overnight stay by the lake – either Mondsee or Attersee.

Day 03 :

Mondsee / Attersee → Traunsee (50–80 km)

Follow Attersee’s emerald shores, passing estates of Austrian nobility and celebrities. Cross the Aurachtal valley to reach Traunsee, stopping at Gmunden (Orth Castle & ceramics), Altmünster, and Traunkirchen. Overnight in Ebensee.

Day 04 :

Traunsee → Wolfgangsee

Cycle to the spa town Bad Ischl, where Emperor Franz Josef once lived. Treat yourself at the famous Café Zauner. Continue to the sparkling Wolfgangsee Lake, staying in St. Gilgen or Abersee.

Day 05 :

Rest Day at Wolfgangsee

Choose your adventure:

🛶 Boat trip on Wolfgangsee
🚴 Short cycle trips to nearby villages
Or simply relax by Austria’s most iconic lake.

Day 06 :

Wolfgangsee → Salzburg

Cycle through St. Gilgen and along Fuschlsee, climb gently to Tiefbrunnau, pass Hintersee, and descend through the Strub & Glasenbach Gorges. A stop at Hellbrunn Castle is highly recommended before returning to Salzburg.

Day 07 :

Departure or Extension

After breakfast, check out. Bikes are returned, unless you extend your holiday with extra nights in Salzburg.
